The Director of Financial Systems is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the institution's financial management systems. This role ensures the effective integration of technology to enhance financial operations, improve reporting accuracy, and support compliance. Collaborating with cross-functional departments, the Director works to streamline financial processes, optimize system performance, and enable data-driven decision-making in alignment with the institution's strategic goals. Additionally, the role includes setting individual and team goals, designing an effective organizational structure to achieve those objectives, evaluating employee and group performance, providing constructive feedback, and making informed compensation decisions. This responsibility ensures that personnel performance aligns with institutional priorities while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement. Responsible for setting employee and/or group goals, deciding on the organizational structure to meet the goals, assessing employee and/or group performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.

Job Duty 1 -
Develop and execute a strategic vision for financial systems that aligns with the institution's overall objectives.

Job Duty 2 -
Lead cross-functional teams in the selection, implementation, and optimization of financial software solutions.

Job Duty 3 -
Oversee the integration of financial systems with other institutional systems to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

Job Duty 4 -
Establish policies and procedures for financial data management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Job Duty 5 -
Monitor and analyze financial system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Job Duty 6 -
Provide guidance and support for financial staff in utilizing systems effectively to achieve operational goals.

Job Duty 7 -
Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial technology services.

Job Duty 8 -
Conduct regular training and professional development opportunities for staff on best practices for financial systems.

Job Duty 9 -
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop budget forecasts and financial reporting frameworks.

Job Duty 10 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience
Eight or more years of relevant experience, including four or more years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent.

Proposed salary: $124,950 - $155,000
