Electronics Technician - SATCOM

Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) is seeking multiple qualified Electronics Technicians to support a contract opportunity supporting the US Navy based in Norfolk, VA. This position requires experience providing Satellite Communications (SATCOM) support using various radio frequency and communications types, to include Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT), Commercial Broadband Satellite Program (CBSP), Ultra High Frequency (UHF), and Digital Mobile Radio (DMR), among others (TV-DTS, HF-DAG, DAMA).

Required Qualifications:

• Must have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in the operation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and assessment of SATCOM variants and antennas.
• Must hold an active Security clearance
• Must be a US Citizen

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; have mobility; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
