Elm Street, Suite 101 Denton, TX 76201 m1services.com Job Summary: M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I - Engine Management who must have a sound knowledge of USAF engine management programs and responsibilities IAW DAFI 21-101, AFMAN 20-116, AFPAM 63-129, TO 00-25-254-1. Will be familiar with Jet Engine Intermediate, Phase and flightline Plans and Scheduling procedures. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Reads and interprets manufacturers and engine maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine required maintenance and inspections. * Receives technical guidance from managers, supervisors, leads or higher-level technicians as required. * May be required to obtain and maintain special certifications required by AFI as directed by management. * Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to aircraft or equipment maintenance, enters maintenance actions into applicable MIS system and will make entries in forms, logs, records, or electronic equivalent as required. * Complete all assignments and tasks as directed by managers, supervisors, leads, and more senior technicians. Qualifications and Experience: * High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable * Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language. * Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements. * Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms). * Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash. * Performs any other supportive duties as assigned. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required). * Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlled movement area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test. * May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract. Working Conditions: * Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties. * Must be able to pass a color vision test. * Must be able to obtain and maintain respirator qualification.
