Job Summary
The Dir-Faculty Administration will manage and oversee all faculty recruitment processes, including tenure track, visiting scholars, and part-time ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies. Oversee faculty contract administration, annual review process, and promotion and tenure processes. Manage administrative support staff throughout the college including setting goals and managing performance.

Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Interface with area coordinators on vacancy announcements
Job Duty 2 - Interact with faculty candidates on employment terms and benefits
Job Duty 3 - Lead on-boarding and exiting processes; provide counsel on relocations and advising on interdisciplinary and special center faculty hiring
Job Duty 4 - Process employment letters for full and part-time faculty and lecturers
Job Duty 5 - Oversee all reappointment and promotion and tenure actions
Job Duty 6 - Manage and supervise administrative support staff in the College, including setting goals and managing performance
Job Duty 7 - Oversee and ensure appropriate visa classifications for tenure track faculty, visiting scholars, and Ph.D. students in collaboration with the Office of International Education and Global Human Resources
Job Duty 8 - Serve as a liaison with area coordinators, academic programs, and faculty affairs on Ph.D. student teaching assignments, loads and approvals
Job Duty 9 - Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Responsibilities
Additional Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all faculty recruitment processes, including tenure track, non-tenure track, visiting scholars, and part-time ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies. Oversee faculty contract administration, annual review process, and promotion and tenure processes. Manage contract administration, annual reviews, and tenure decisions. Manage and supervise HR faculty administrative support staff and ensure effective performance management. Interact on a regular basis with all the College's 5 schools, Office of Faculty Administration, and faculty and staff. Act as a liaison between faculty, academic programs, and administrative units. Ensure proper visa classifications for international faculty and scholars.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience Six to eight years of job related experience

Proposed Salary
FLSA Status: Exempt Pay: $96,210 - $115,000
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
SKILLS This position requires advanced knowledge of and ability to apply/interpret Board of Regents and Institute policies and procedures that govern academic human resources and faculty administration. Demonstrated experience in faculty employment including promotion and tenure. Demonstrated understanding of Visa classifications and processing. Skills in verbal and written communications, organization and supervision, customer service and planning. Use of office and specialized computer applications and database systems is required

This is not a supervisory position. This position does not have any financial responsibilities. This position will not be required to drive. This role is not considered a position of trust. This position does require a purchasing card (P-Card). This position will not travel. This position does not require security clearance. This position is located in Atlanta, GA
