Motor Vehicle Title Registrar Clerk Chattanooga, TN
$19.68 $20.60 per hour
Full-Time (40 hrs. per week)

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, plus one year experience in customer service, data entry and cash handling. Must pass a background check, drug test, and typing test. Must type a minimum of 35 words per minute and be firmilar with Microsoft office. Must be organized and able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Job Responsibilities: Primary tasks include serving motorists who are in need of tags, titles, and renewals. Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of the job. Hours of operations are Monday-Friday 7: 50 a.m. - 4: 50 p.m., with the exception of county observed holidays. Mandatory overtime may be required.
Knowledge, Ability and Skills: Must maintain professional and courteous composure with the public. Must be able to memorize and retain title application procedures. Must retain knowledge of state and federal laws and rules regulating motor vehicle transactions. Must be detail-oriented. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
