Job Description:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manages a team of Cleanroom Operations personnel.
- Establishes procedures and protocol to ensure efficient and optimum operation of the Research Foundation/NY CREATES Center for Semiconductor Research.
- Work closely with IBM, NY CREATES, and Research Foundation/NY CREATES client personnel to provide a highly productive work environment.
- Conducts performance reviews, mentors, disciplines, and helps develop a highly effective work force.
- A significant portion of the work shift will be spent in the Cleanroom; this is a direct "hands on" supervisory position.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements for Manager of Cleanroom Operations
- BS or equivalent experience in Management, Education, or Physical, Chemical, or Biological sciences from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Power Point and Excel.
- At least 5 years supervisory / management experience.
This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.

Salary Range: $75,000- $85,000, Night Shift Stipend 10K
