The Role ...

We are seeking a motivated Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will perform repetitive inspections following standardized methods and procedures. You will visually inspect and check parts against fixed samples. Additionally, you will perform finishing operations to correct rejected parts or assist with other production activities.

This is a full-time non-exempt hourly position on 1st shift, working a 4 day/10-hour shift, Monday-Thursday schedule, located in our Pleasant Plain, OH manufacturing production facility.

Your Responsibilities ...

  • Perform assigned, routine visual inspections and other specified tests on goods in process, and finished products
  • Observe and verify materials to evaluate quality of product and identify faults
  • Document and summarize inspection data and production results for review by operators, supervisors, and other production staff
  • Consult with supervisor to determine appropriate recommendations and remedies for questionable products
  • Create and maintain quality records as needed
  • Ensure the quality of the products we manufacture
  • Assist with follow up on internal audits/inspections and compliance related policies and procedures
  • Recommend process improvements to strengthen systems and prevent quality/regulatory related issues
  • Review and implement applicable SOPs
  • Execute sampling plans of materials for inspection, testing, and sample retention purposes
  • Review and verify the production documentation for accurate completion (i.e., Line Start-Up Checklists, Batch Record Review)
  • Monitor in-process equipment as required
  • Understand basic GMP guidelines and compliance
Requirements

You'll Need ...

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-year related experience in a Quality Control environment; cGMP environment preferred
  • Problem-Solving and Math Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with foundational math knowledge
  • Good Attendance: Maintain regular, on-time attendance to support consistent quality checks and ensure seamless coordination with production and quality teams
