We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that is a motivated self-starter with superior listening, communication, and analytical talents to lead our customer's financial operations. The candidate must have experience with DoD financial management, DoD contracting, strong MS Excel skills and high analytical abilities. This role will provide financial support for multiple projects in support of a multi-service/federal agency data analytics program. Responsibilities: * Build budgets and manage required revisions * Evaluate contractor spend plans and monitor expenditures against them * Develop obligation plans, coordinate Purchase Requests to apply funding, and prepare records that substantiate funding recommendations * Monitor, measure, and analyze costs against a budget using templates provided and modifying them as needed * Develop ad hoc spreadsheets to research and present solutions to financial inquiries as they arise * Prepare monthly financial reports using processes and templates provided by the division * Prepare intuitive and comprehensible slide decks for monthly briefings with the IPT's customer * Proactively identify and communicate potential financial issues before they become a problem * Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in a Finance, Business Management related Curriculum or Equivalent * Eight (8) years of Contract Management experience, including Development of: Program Acquisition Documentation, Testing Criteria, Corrective Action Systems, Program Monitoring Approach (e.g. PERT, CPM, EVM), Cost Estimates, and Program Status Reports * Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures. * At least Eight (8) years of DoD and/or Federal Agency BUS-FM experience, to include: Fluent application of FM processes and techniques, as well as the ability to assist and lead other team member in the field. Analysts will be experienced in performing advanced level financial transactions, creating and preparing reports and presentations, analysis, and recommendations for BUS-FM product and process efficiencies. Salary: $120k+ to align with education and experience Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
