We are seeking a Remote Sales Representative based in the Milwaukee, WI area.

A Sales Representative establishes and maintains relationships between customers and County Materials Corporation to ensure prompt, accurate communication and documentation to support successful execution of estimates, proposals and awarded projects. They provide leadership for projects to assure superior customer satisfaction, successful project completion that meets or exceeds requirements.

Job Duties:


  • Establish and maintain relations with current and prospective customer base.
  • Monitor all necessary resources to create and maintain project lettings and bid dates.
  • Maintain communication with estimating to facilitate accurate estimates for prestress projects.
  • Communicate project details with internal team members.
  • Create and distribute proposals and maintain contact/follow up with customers.
  • Coordinate availability of internal resources to support customers' schedules.
  • Review any changes in project scope and follow up with other departments so that changes are addressed appropriately.
  • Promptly communicate critical information to operations such as delivery dates and sequencing.
  • Participate in sales/project management meetings to ensure alignment of engineering/drafting/production goals with changing customer demands as projects progress.
  • Responsible for proper documentation of information. All verbal commitments are to be documented, signed off by customers and relayed internally.
  • Assist with resolving customer complaints and issues.
  • Occasional travel; based in the Twin Cities Metro Region.


Experience & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or 10 years of concrete construction experience or related industry experience.
  • Prefer experience with prestressed concrete girders and/or structural precast/prestressed concrete.
  • Requires strong leadership skills, understanding of construction/production principles and ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient PC skills particularly with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
  • PCI certifications desirable.
