Providence Place, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for dedicated and passionate Business Office Manager to join our growing team.

Providence Place is conveniently located on the bus route, located in southern Minneapolis in the Standish Ericcson neighborhood. Here we provide services for our seniors in a TCU (Transitional Care Unit) Care, Long-Term Care and Memory Care. We have been helping seniors Age Magnificently for over 25 years and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting senior.

Shifts Available: Full-Time Monday-Friday (8a-4:30p)
Wage: $30-$33 wage is based on experience

Position Summary

Responsible for managing accounts receivable, month end processes, and general administration for facility. Also responsible for overall communication and management of payroll and personnel functions, accounts payable, and general administration support for facility.

Position Functions and Responsibilities

* Verify and maintain resident A/R accounts in applicable software.

* Analyze and submit billing of all assigned payers according to company established deadline.

* Coordinate with facility team to ensure accuracy of census and incidental charge items.

* Communicate with state and county offices to obtain and provide necessary information on residents

* Communicate with Billing Specialist to obtain and provide necessary information on residents

* Review aging: follow up on any account if it is in arrears per company established policies.

* File inquiries, reconsiderations, and appeals to appropriate agencies or individuals for rejected claims or statements.

* Coordinate daily deposits, balance daily receipts, and post daily journal payments.

* Prepare and reconcile month end processes to meet company deadline.

* Prepare reports, including collection notes and the aging report by company deadline.

* Manage and process invoices and required reporting with payables systems.

* Manage and maintain all personnel records, employee medical records, and mandatory periodic reports in accordance with company retention policies and procedures.

* Complete required reporting Certificate of Rent Paid, and other reporting requested by other departments.

* Answer phone, greet visitors and provide direction and assistance in a friendly and helpful manner.

* Must be adaptable, flexible to changes, and able to prioritize and organize work efficiently to accomplish workload within time allotted.

* Maintain a positive attitude in relation to customer service program.

* Comply with established safety rules and regulations.

* Promptly reports accidents, incidents, and unsafe and hazardous conditions/equipment to supervisor.

* Understand, comply with, and promote all rules regarding resident's rights.

* Abide by the facility's policies, procedures and practices.

* Participate in and support Quality efforts throughout the facility.

* Attend meetings and mandatory in-services.

* Knowledge and adherence to safety/disaster preparedness plan.

* All other duties as needed.

Experience and Education

* High school graduate or equivalent.

* Minimum of three years' experience in a business office environment, preferably health care oriented.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families and employees.

* Must possess proficient computer skills, including email use.

* Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.

* Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.

* Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
