As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while maintaining a secure environment. You will use your customer service skills to assist guests and answer inquiries, while also remaining alert to any security-related concerns. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable using computers or tablets and enjoy interacting with people in a dynamic setting. Pay Rate: $14.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous experience.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters as needed.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain awareness of the manufacturing and industrial environment to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering assistance related to security-related procedures and site information.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
