General Summary
The SAP Solutions Architect T is responsible for the design and alignment of the current enterprise architecture principles focusing on reusing existing capabilities in solutions and servicesandbalancingfunctionalandnon-functionalrequirementswithnecessaryprioritizations and compromises. This is a technical position that requires hands-on design and development.
The SAP Solutions Architect T proactively and holistically supports Enterprise Architecture (EA) activities that guide the development and management of the portfolio of solutions. Solutions include systems applications, technologies, processes, information, and shared application services.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
* Define and design end-to-end SAP architecture(S/4HANA,SAPBTP,SAPFiori,SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.) aligned with business and IT strategies. *
* Lead solutioning workshops with business stakeholders to translate business requirementsintoSAPfunctionalandtechnicalsolutionsforCostaRicaRollout.*
* EvaluateandrecommendSAPbestpractices,standardfunctionalities,andindustry- specific solutions to optimize business processes. *
* DesignintegrationarchitecturebetweenSAPandthird-partyapplications(e.g., MES, Salesforce, Coupa, Opcenter). *
* OverseeSAPimplementations,rollouts,andupgradestoensuresolutionsmeet functional and technical requirements.
* Provide technical leadership to functional and development teams (ABAP, Fiori/UI5,CPI, etc.). *
* EstablishSAPsolutiongovernanceframeworktomanageenhancements,upgrades, and custom developments.
* PerformtechnicalreviewsandriskassessmentsforallSAPchangestoensurestability, scalability, and security. *
* CollaboratewithsecurityteamstoensureauthorizationdesignandSoDcompliance.
* ActasatrustedadvisortobusinessstakeholdersonSAPcapabilitiesandroadmap.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams(Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement) to drive digital transformation initiatives.
* ProvideguidanceandmentorshiptoSAPconsultants,developers,andbusiness analysts.
* WorkandrefinetheGlobalMRPprocessforRMandFGandspecificallyforCostaRica Rollout. *
* Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System(QMS)as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. *
* Understandrelevantsecurity,privacyandcomplianceprinciplesandadheretothe regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company. *
* EnsureothermembersofthedepartmentfollowtheQMS,regulations,standards,and procedures. *
* Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Minimum education and experience
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, with 10+ years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, applicationdevelopment,middleware,databasemanagementorclouddevelopmentor equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications
* Participationinaminimumof2fullsoftwarelifecycleimplementations,fromidea, vendor selection, implementation, and transition to production support.
* Demonstrated experience understanding business goals of a commercial organization;objectivesandbusinessoutcomes,businesscapabilities,value- streams, business processes and translating them into solution roadmaps, blueprints, and strategies
* Exposuretomultiple,diversetechnologies,platforms,andprocessingenvironments.
* Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical applicationofexistingandemergingtechnologiestonewandevolvingbusinessand operating models.
* Knowledge of product management, agile principles and development methodologiesandcapabilityofsupportingagileteamsbyprovidingadviceand guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt.
* Experience working with technology such as CRM, MES, Trade Promotions Management/RevenueGrowthManagement,B2B,B2C.Examplescouldincludebut are not limited to Salesforce, MS Dynamics, and SAP.
* Experience in prior successful implementations of CRM platforms (preferably MS Dynamis would be nice to have)
* Familiaritywithmasterdatamanagementconcepts,specificallyforproduct, customer, and customer hierarchies
* Experienceworkinginthemedicalorhealthcareindustryispreferred.21CFRPart820 and IOS13485 experience is especially helpful.
* Experienceworkingwithbusinessprocessessupportingacommercialorganizationis preferred. This includes working with frontline sales teams, as well as back-office support teams.
* Demonstratedabilitytoworkcross-functionallyacrossotherfunctionalverticalsand horizontals, including but not limited to Enterprise Architecture, data and analytics, infrastructure, integration services, supply chain, HR, and finance.
* Demonstratedexperienceprovidingthenecessaryleadershipandanalysistosupport the development of technology solutions that meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
* Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments
* Proven communication skills with both internal team members and external businessstakeholderswithstrongoral,written,andinterpersonalcommunication skills
* Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
* Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills required
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency with MSWord, Excel, and other standard office tools
* Excellentorganizationalskillswithabilitytoprioritizeassignmentswhilehandlingvarious projects simultaneously
Working Conditions
Business travel including from 5%-10%. Must be willing to travel to our offices in Roseville, Livermore, Salt Lake City, Berlin (Germany) as needed. General office environment Requires some lifting and moving of up to 10 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and to use computer, sitting for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to read, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
