Overview

The role of a Financial Analytics Consultant - CCAR Aggregation is to support the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) Aggregation team by performing data analysis, reporting and process optimization to ensure accurate and timely CCAR submissions. This role focuses on collecting, validating and analyzing financial risk data, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to regulatory compliance efforts. The Financial Analytics Consultant will work under the direction of the Senior Manager of CCAR Aggregation


Responsibilities

* Data Collection and Validation: Gather and validate financial and risk data from various business units to support CCAR reporting requirements (e.g., FR Y-14A).
* Data Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, anomalies and data quality issues to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Report Preparation: Assist is preparing CCAR reports and schedules, ensuring compliance with Federal Reserve guidelines and internal standards.
* Process Support: Contribute to the development and maintenance of data aggregation processes, leveraging tools and automation to improve efficiency.
* Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Risk, Treasury and IT teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure alignment of inputs for CCAR deliverables.
* Documentation and Controls: Maintain thorough documentation of data processes and ensure adherence to internal controls and governance standards.
* Issue Resolution: Identify and escalate data quality or process issues to the Senior Manager, proposing solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
* Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on CCAR and regulatory reporting requirements.
* Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial and risk analyses to support strategic initiatives, as direction by the Senior Manager.

Preferred Skills

o Proficiency in data aggregation tools such as SQL, Python, R or Excel (advanced functions, VBA).
o Familiarity with CCAR reporting templates (FR Y-14 series) and Federal Reserve requirements.
o Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and attention to detail.
o Ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
o Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
o Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Finance or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Finance or Analytics

Maintains advanced knowledge of financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, and industry trends., Demonstrated knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
