The Product Marketing Manager will lead the creation of compelling messaging and thought leadership initiatives, with a particular focus on B2B Marketing for Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role will craft narratives, develop content strategies, and collaborate across teams to articulate the value of our portfolio, Agentforce, and B2B Marketing to influence lead generation and provide Sales teams with compelling content.

Department Description:

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Product Marketing team works with across the technology, product, sales, and marketing to position and promote the #1 Marketing Cloud in the industry. We are looking for someone to help ensure that our B2B Marketing solutions are represented across go-to-market activities, events, websites, pitch decks, and all enablement. A big part of the job will include developing a deep understanding of our product offerings, creating presentations that convey our vision and strategy, understanding market needs and trends, and collaborating with other teams to deliver innovative marketing programs to grow bookings and customer adoption.

Role Description:

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud team is looking for a product marketer who is dynamic, creative, and has great interpersonal skills to help differentiate and grow our business. This individual will help us deliver compelling and differentiated messages, position us effectively vs. the competition and help us hit it out of the park with our business goals.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Align with the Marketing Cloud Product teams to drive strategy and create/deliver product releases materials and content delivery, following standard Salesforce release checklist

  • Bring products to market with an innovative and effective launch plan

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop content, enablement messaging, plays, and GTM programs that help drive pipeline, find new buyers, and cross-sell into existing accounts

  • Work closely with cross-functional marketing teams to drive the business & product marketing strategy, then track, measure, and report against objectives

  • Communicate effectively and often to ensure all stakeholders are aligned

  • Create compelling, comprehensive, and easy-to-understand assets, competitive positioning, FAQs, and cheat sheets to enable the sales team

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in product marketing for a high tech company (enterprise software experience preferred)

  • Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative products

  • Dynamic, confident personality with the ability to successfully define and drive project execution with minimal guidance amidst multiple priorities and goals

  • Excellent storyteller - you know how to craft a story, engage an audience, and make the complex simple

  • Experience working with direct distribution (sales) teams and channel partners

  • Hands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets, including easy to understand on-message product demo videos and succinct slide pitch decks

  • Creative thinker that can generate innovative marketing ideas and lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive execution

  • Strong skills in communication, writing, and ability to work well cross-functionally

  • Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence

  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • B2B industry knowledge a plus

  • Eager and passionate to learn and apply evolving AI tools in product marketing deliverables

  • Ability to deliver results in global, matrixed environments comprised of internal and external stakeholders

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,800 to $190,900. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,800 to $190,900. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $127,200 to $174,900.
