At Salesforce, the Industry Product Marketing team is responsible for crafting the industry strategy across the company's verticals. We are looking for an Industries Product Marketing Senior Director to drive strategy, messaging, content, and execution across the Life Sciences industry.

Our Product Marketers develop product messaging and positioning, go-to-market programs, campaigns, events, and sales enablement. Our success is defined by our ability to deliver relevant content that creates sales trials, sales pipeline, and ultimately, new customers. Each Product Marketer has the opportunity to cultivate their career within a specialized space while having a solution and platform mentality. They have a broad range of responsibilities which include: presenting business cases to leadership, networking with internal partners and customers, collaborating with our Product leaders and Engineers, and educating our Sales teams.

In this role, you will be leading a team and working with a large cross-functional partners to showcase Salesforce as the trusted partner in this Agentic AI era. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leading teams, driving clarity and influencing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and drive the global industry strategy that focuses on the highest opportunity market segments and use cases

  • Partner with our product team to drive the development and launch of industry-specific products in support of each industry's strategy

  • Lead your team of Product Marketers to define differentiated, clear and customer-centric narrative, value props, positioning and messaging to be used by the broader Marketing and Sales organization

  • Develop effective sales training materials and operationalize enablement, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings, key positioning, and marketing efforts

  • Establish executive relationships with strategic technology partners for each industry

  • Drive industry thought leadership at global conferences and/or for customer meetings through presentations to audiences of all sizes.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in industry marketing or product marketing

  • Min 3-5 years Life Sciences industry experience

  • Experience leading and inspiring a team of marketers

  • Expertise presenting to executive leaders and cross functional partners, and ability to develop compelling customer-facing presentations

  • Ability to craft a range of marketing assets (including on-message product demo videos, sharp succinct slide pitch-decks in Apple Keynote and Microsoft PowerPoint), product data sheets.

  • Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)

Preferred Skills

  • A natural collaborator with a willingness to drive tactical execution

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish excellent working relationships with cross-functional teams.

  • Get-it-Done confidence to pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguity

  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision making as well as a consistent track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics

  • A winning attitude that inspires optimism, fun, and the desire to always be learning!

  • Experience with the Salesforce products and/or other SaaS and B2B technology platforms

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $196,800 to $300,200. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $196,800 to $300,200.
