This position supports the North American Industrial Liquid manufacturing facilities by working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Demand Planning to align finished good inventory levels to customer demand by having the right product at the right place at the right time. This position will be responsible for up to 4 sites and will aid in the Flash process to achieve operational alignment and efficiency throughout. Additional Information The travel for the position is 10% Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. - The position will plan and control all scheduling activities supporting assigned plants. They will balance production and inventory levels with demand to support targets consistent with customer service levels, monthly flash requirements, inventory turns goals and capacity utilization.
- The role will plan the supply of finished goods, utilize capacity planning tools, load production, identify corrective actions (overtime, adding equipment, expediting, etc.) and coordinate with the Sourcing team and manufacturing plant to review and suggest key planning parameter changes.
- The position will participate in meetings to review sales forecasts, manufacturing, planning, new product introductions, fill line rates, metrics and other potential related Supply Chain issues.
- This role will work closely with Demand Planners and the Business Units to review new product introductions, events and regional promotions to ensure the Supply Chain can support and execute all program requirements.
- The position will develop feasible weekly bucketed schedules by work center and sku to manufacturing, measured by compliance and service metrics for performance and will lead Lean and continuous improvement projects
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)
- Must have a bachelor's degree or higher or five (5) years of work experience in supply chain
- Must have two (2) years of work experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, or Operations
- Must be highly analytically and be able to perform complex data analysis with the ability to communicate concise conclusions
Preferred Qualification:
- Have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a Supply Chain
- Have five (5) years of work experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, or Operations
- Have APICS/ASCM CPIM Certification
- Have experience with Blue Yonder, Tableau, Business Objects, and Best of Breed / BIOS boundary systems
- Have work experience with Procurement, Technical or Manufacturing experience within the coatings industry
