The Supervisor, Quality Control Lab - Microbiology (Management Path), is primarily responsible for ensuring products meet corporate, regulatory, and industry standards by coordinating Quality Assurance operations. You will lead the lab's daily operations, guiding staff to maintain safety, quality, and cost standards at the North and ASPEX Manufacturing site in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, a typical day will include:
Supervise microbiological testing and operations within the Quality Control Lab, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. Oversee lab testing services, monitor results, and ensure adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGxP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and aseptic practices. Collaborate with affiliated departments to support product release and maintain operations within safety, quality, and cost standards. Make day-to-day decisions affecting lab operations, requiring supervisory skills, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Train and mentor lab staff, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and maintaining high standards of quality control. Ensure all associates adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP) regulations by strictly following SOPs, maintaining accurate and complete documentation, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Prior Manufacturing or Distribution Center Experience Microbiology Lab testing experience (ie. Presumptive ID, LAL/Endotoxin, Bioburden, Sterility) and/or previously leading a team performing these types of tests.
