Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What You'll Do

As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you'll bring engineering to life by assembling the components that keep our cities moving.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble hydraulic and electro-mechanical lifts and ramps used in transit vehicles
• Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and written work instructions
• Install mechanical parts such as shafts, bearings, gears, and linkages
• Conduct basic quality checks and function tests with engineering support
• Operate hand and power tools with precision and safety
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and inspection-ready
• Assist with product rework and process improvement projects when needed

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (technical training a plus)
• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or maintenance
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and following assembly instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive, hands-on work
• Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and pride in your work
• A flexible, team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn new skills
