We're looking for an Business Intelligence Engineer to join Snowflake's Marketing Analytics team.

The Marketing Intelligence team's vision is to predict real time ROI (return on investment) to dynamically optimize our marketing programs and ultimately disrupt the aged B2B marketing analytics practices. Our mission is to build scalable solutions and models to enable Snowflake marketing to become the industry's most insights-driven team. We are looking for talented candidates who can push the boundaries of our existing ecosystem and help us to design new state-of-the-art solutions to marketing problems that we can share with customers and partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with a team of high-performing analytics and data science professionals to identify business opportunities, and solutions to address them

  • Conduct rigorous analysis focused on solving business problems with Snowflake

  • Think creatively, proactively, and futuristically to identify new opportunities within

  • Snowflake's long term roadmap for business intelligence

  • Act as "customer zero" for Snowflake so we can continue to evolve an even more powerful, intuitive Snowflake product and demonstrations of our internal platform on Snowflake utilization

  • Stand up production-level ETLs and data pipelines to fuel reporting and strategic insights

  • Design and architect the data foundations and ETLs to scale with diversifying marketing needs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A degree in a quantitative discipline: statistics, operations research, computer science, informatics, engineering, applied mathematics, economics, etc.

  • At least 4 years of experience in an analytics or data-oriented role

  • Experience working as a part of a team and working across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Experience in a querying language such as SQL

  • Experience in a scripting language such as Python or R

  • Experience in a visualization or dashboarding tool such as Tableau, Streamlit, Looker, or Mode (bonus if Streamlit)

  • Experience in pipeline orchestration (i.e. DBT or Airflow)

  • Excellent communication skills to summarize insights and recommendations to audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $113,000 - $150,100.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
