Description

First Choice is seeking aPhysician Services Coordinatorto join our dynamic team.

The Physician Services Coordinator is the point person for the block time calendar for all block locations. They are responsible to coordinate the physician calendar and any physician and clinic related items as assigned.

This is a part-time position with the expectation of working 16-hours/week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Create the physician block time calendar and consolidate schedules as needed
  • Assist physicians with technical issues and troubleshoot when needed
  • Coordinate physician license expirations and board certification expirations
  • Administer Doctor renewals including pins and client specific renewals
  • Schedule doctor travel and reconcile doctor expenses and travel credit card expenses.
  • Schedule per diems and provide per diem daily paperwork
  • Coordinate room rentals
  • Secure business licenses
  • Process new location set ups and MES office list updates
  • Manage and maintain the dictation folder daily
  • Maintain the clinician calendar
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality of physician personal information
  • Provide consistent and timely follow-up on all physician requests
  • Promote physician relations and assist with customer service needs as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management



Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 2 years of office experience required with on the job experience in a medical office or related field preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Must be able to operate a general computer, electronic media fax, copier, scanner, and telephone.
  • Must be a qualified word processor with a minimum of 35 W.P.M
  • Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite, Outlook and the Internet.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions when clarification is needed.
  • Must have excellent skills in English usage, grammar, punctuation and style.
  • Must have the ability to follow instructions and respond to Managements' directions accurately.
  • Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Look for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to demonstrate and promote a positive team -oriented environment.
  • Must be able to stay focused and concentrate under normal or heavy distractions.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and or stressful conditions.
  • Must possess the ability to manage change, delays, or unexpected events appropriately.
  • Ability to follow all company policies and procedures in effect at time of hire and as they may change or be added from time to time.
