We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our team in Indiana (Great Lakes Region, Schererville or Griffith).

Support team leads with maintenance planning, scheduling, outage coordination, material procurement, and contractor coordination.

What you will do:

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on Maintenance Work: Work with collaborators to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks.

  • Weekly Scheduling: Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor and RMA to develop and implement weekly routine schedules flawlessly.

  • Lead Meetings: Take the lead in the weekly maintenance scheduling meetings, ensuring clear communication and efficient planning.

  • Resource Coordination: Ensure all necessary resources are available before the start of any job, including parts, drawings, manuals, tools, personnel, mobile equipment, etc.

  • Resource Management: Coordinate with PLM and other resources to successfully implement maintenance plans.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in maintenance planning or a similar role.

  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong collaboration abilities to work with various collaborators.

  • Ability to lead and conduct effective meetings.

  • Diligent approach with a dedication to ensuring all resources are prepared in advance.

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years' experience working in field operations or a mix of education/work experience

  • Proven maintenance skills and extensive experience in the field.

  • Understanding and applying maintenance and reliability standard methodologies, usually backed by further training or certification.

  • Advanced technical knowledge of various equipment types.

  • Strong documentation skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Programs.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasionally required to work long hours on short notice.

  • Occasional daily travel of 50-100 miles between assigned stations.

  • Travel throughout the region for emergencies, training, and region meetings.

  • Office setting (60%) / Field setting (40%).

  • Occasional work in extreme cold (-40F) and extreme heat (100 F).

  • Work often required in high noise level areas and areas where vapor from crude oil and solvents may be present.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed.

  • No relocation will be provided for this temporary assignment.

Physical Requirements:

Tasks involve grasping, kneeling, lifting (up to 45 pounds), reaching, repetitive motion, sitting, standing.

Mental Requirements:

Ability to follow instructions, solve problems, communicate clearly, prioritize tasks, and make decisions.
