Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site for our client in Orlando, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Perform functional, performance, and environmental tests on electronic components and assemblies.
• Assist in developing test procedures, test plans, and documentation for new and existing products.
• Operate and maintain lab/test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.
• Record and analyze test data to identify trends, issues, or performance concerns.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to test failures or product defects.
• Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain detailed and accurate test records, logs, and reports.
• Follow safety and ESD protocols in the lab environment.

Pay: $23.37 / hr

Hours: 40 hrs / Week (1^st shift)

Length: Temp (12 months)

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of testing experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with basic circuit identification and troubleshooting, electrical analysis.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with circuit analysis, electronics, and electrical systems.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with measurement instruments, testing equipment, and methodologies.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with analog and digital circuit principles.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with reading schematics, datasheets, and test documentation.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with electronic test equipment in a lab or academic setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automated test systems or scripting languages (Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB).
• Exposure to PCB-level debugging and soldering/rework techniques.
• Knowledge of product compliance testing (EMC, safety, thermal).
• Familiarity with manufacturing test processes and test fixtures.
• Understanding of industry standards (IPC, ISO, MIL-STD).

• Read and understand Mil-Specifications and Electronics schematics
• Ability to use a multimeter
• Ability to identify and resolve problems with test equipment and systems.

• Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
