After reviewing the position description, if you feel you are a fit for our organization and possess the required qualifications, we invite you to apply: SRE is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to develop and maintain geospatial data products in support of FEMA's Planning and Exercise Division. This role is responsible for creating, managing, and analyzing GIS data layers and maps, and integrating spatial data from multiple sources to support planning documentation, situational awareness, and decisionmaking. The ideal candidate will have advanced GIS skills, experience with spatial data integration and analysis, and the ability to translate complex geospatial information into actionable planning products. This role requires a professional who can collaborate with planners, analysts, and other technical experts to ensure data accuracy and develop visual products that enhance operational readiness. Work Environment: The primary work location of this position is the Washington D.C. Metro area. Remote work is allowed but not guaranteed. Please Note: Occasional travel may be required to attend planning meetings, workshops, exercises, or other mission activities at locations outside the primary duty station. Travel frequency will be determined by project needs. If you live outside the commutable area, travel expenses are not reimbursed to the primary work location.
