The Job

Lead the strategic direction and development of our Medicare Supplemental Benefits program by driving increased efficiency, service levels, and value. As the Senior Manager, Medicare Supplemental Benefits, you will set and execute strategies, oversee performance monitoring, and identify key opportunities for improvement. You will develop, plan, lead, monitor, and own multiple, concurrent supplemental benefits, utilizing cross-functional teams to deliver defined results requirements and ensure alignment with company objectives and long-term vision.

You Will

Develop and execute strategies for defined supplemental benefits, starting with dental with the potential to expand into additional high-impact offerings. * Lead Vendor Relations processes and develop best practices for business needs. * Act as the supplemental benefit authority and subject matter expert to the organization

Build collaborative partnerships with strategic vendors, including buy-in and support across all leadership levels internally, and within the vendor. * Manage a defined set of product implementations from simple to complex across markets, products, post-implementation transition to operations.

Responsible for overseeing vendor performance management by ensuring SLAs are met, monitoring KPIs and trends, creating vendor dashboards, , identifying areas for improvement, and driving accountability through regular performance reviews and corrective action plans.

Documenting and monitoring corrective actions taken to address identified deficiencies and maintaining compliance.

Developing and implementing a vendor performance program that includes analytics/metrics that measure value.

Ensure issues are identified and managed to resolution in a timely manner and deliverables are met as required.

Interpret internal stakeholder needs then collaborates with and provides guidance to vendor(s)/partner(s) to assure new capabilities and services are developed to meet identified internal needs.

Research and analyze internal and external information related to product development, including industry trends, competitor activities, and specific health service delivery systems.

Evaluate and source new opportunities to add or consolidate vendor partners.

Develop and refine new strategies to support supplemental benefits and assess annual supplemental benefits needs. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Actuarial, Finance, and Clinical teams to align benefit design with affordability targets, utilization trends, and member experience goals. * Leverage member feedback, appeals and grievances data, and utilization insights in collaboration with member experience teams to improve benefit usability and satisfaction.

Your Qualifications

Bachler's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

5-7 years of related experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to develop and operationalize long-term strategies for supplemental benefit programs that align with organizational goals and member needs. - Vendor Management & Performance Oversight

Skilled in establishing vendor relationships, setting service level expectations, driving accountability through KPIs and dashboards, and managing corrective actions when needed.

Cross-Functional Leadership - Proven ability to partner with internal teams including Product, Finance, Clinical, and Actuarial to align benefit design with compliance, affordability, and experience goals.

Data-Driven Decision Making - Strong analytical skills to leverage member feedback, utilization trends, and grievance insights to inform benefit enhancements and optimize program performance.

Product Development & Benefit Optimization - Expertise in sourcing, launching, and refining supplemental benefits, from ideation to implementation, with continuous improvement based on market insights and organizational priorities.
