Job Summary The Lab Technician will be tasked with a research project involving the design of a novel biaxial strain cell that can be used for various projects in the lab. We anticipate submitting a manuscript on the design of the instrument at the end of the summer. Essential Job Duties Performing research in the group, including low temperature measurements and coordination with on-campus machine shop to implement the designs of the instrument Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physics or other related field. Fluency in finite element simulation, familiarity with machining. Preferred Qualifications Experience in experimental low temperature physics, familiarity with the literature of quantum materials. Required Documents Resume CV Hiring Range $19.00 - $25.75 Per Hour The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
