Summary: As an Engineering Model Maker at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will be responsible for the manufacturing of parts to print, meeting required quality standards and maintaining machine shop equipment.. - Complete rapid prototypes of engineering parts
- Complete rapid alterations of production parts
- Fabricate production parts
- Design and fabricate production fixtures and jigs
- Design in CAD, program in CAM systems
- Maintain shop tools
- Maintain, repair and service shop equipment
- Provide engineering team feedback on producibility of designs
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Include:
- Must have significant experience in the following metalworking areas: Programming CNC, cutting tools, drilling and threading, fabrication, grinding, lathe, machining, machine tool parts and accessories, measuring, milling, press tools, pipe and tube bending, and turning. Tool room experience is desired.
- Must understand differences between various metal properties
- Must be able to read mechanical drawings and machine to print
- Working knowledge of electrical systems to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment
Requirements Include:
- Must be a US Person (US Citizen or permanent resident - green card holder)
- High school diploma or GED required
- 10+ years of experience as a millwright
- 10 + years of experience as a machinist dealing with precision parts
