Associate Engineer Specialist

The Assoc Eng Specialist role involves assisting in the development and implementation of operating plans, preparing data for analysis, and transforming business processes.

Essential Functions

• Assists in preparing short and long-range plans, expansion, regulatory, and manpower needs
• Gather, organize, and ensure the accuracy of data for operating plans and engineering analysis
• Work with management to ensure suppliers and hired professional services comply with policies, procedures, and governing authorities
• Assisting in improving productivity, service, and cost performance in operations, supporting special study teams
• Assisting with research, evaluation, and recommendations of emerging technologies and management methodologies
• Assists in activities related to projects and studies in support of corporate or department objectives, including planning and organizing assignments, schedules, and activities
• Assist with project and communication plans, project status to stakeholders, requirement specifications, solution design, system development and testing, and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Assisting in studies designed to implement innovative concepts into operations, systems, and customer solutions to benefit FedEx and its customers
• Assists in the evaluation of capital and expense planning, provides input for annual and long-range budget processes, and assists in the collection, analysis, and reporting of financial and operational indicators
• Preparation of business justifications in support of the funding approval process and provide technical training to personnel through workshops, seminars, on-the-job training, and one-on-one sessions
• Establishing communications between operations and corporate departments to provide technical and local expertise related to corporate or department initiatives and operations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $4,972.60 - $6,464.38
