Automatic Door Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for the installation and service of automatic doors and related equipment, materials, and control devices.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $20/hr - $45/hrplus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (eligible for candidates with current AAADM certification)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Install dormakaba Automatic Access Solutions equipment in commercial buildings
• Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional manner
• Operate a company vehicle, and transport products and equipment in a safe and courteous manner
• Maintain accurate project and/or service data through diligent and timely use of all documentation and technical data

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Valid current driver's license
• Experience in mechanical, construction, or electrical field
• Physical requirements, including ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overhead

WHAT WE PREFER

• 1+ years' experience as an automatic door installer or service technician
• AAADM Certification
