We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Manager to support the design, coordination, facilitation, and implementation of learning, development, and excellence initiatives. This unique role plays a vital part in ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality learning programs in Jazz's oncology space for both the Medical Affairs and Commercial teams. This individual will require a deep understanding of Oncology and the discipline of learning, development and field excellence as well as possess excellent organizational and project management skills. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with Commercial and Medical Affairs partners, leaders, subject matter experts, and the broader learning team to implement learning solutions that align with business goals, scientific and medical standards. Reporting to the Director, US Medical Learning and Excellence, with a dotted line to the Director of Oncology Learning and Development (Commercial) this role will coordinate with medical and commercial L&D peers and focus on elevating scientific acumen, enhancing field capabilities, optimizing learning and development resources and cultivating a culture of continuous learning and excellence in both commercial and medical teams. Essential Functions: * Collaborate with trainers in both the oncology medical and commercial learning teams, working on projects that start in medical but then can be adapted to commercial learning needs to maximize efficiencies where possible. * Leverage scientific / clinical acumen, medical capabilities and excellence expertise to ensure field / job readiness for the Medical Affairs team. * Design, coordinate and deliver engaging curricula, learning journeys, training content and resources for Medical Affairs and Commercial team members across oncology therapeutic areas, specific portfolio of products and functional skills development. * Partner with internal stakeholders to conduct needs assessments, gather feedback and identify areas of improvement. * Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop or adapt learning materials aligned with strategies and regulatory standards. * Successfully manage vendor projects and budgets. * Collaborate with internal SMEs to effectively manage learning content, access, and delivery in the Learning Management System (LMS) and maintain medical and commercial excellence resources and tools. * Facilitate learning and as needed, coordinate with facilitators to ensure learning resources are available for sessions/workshops by leveraging scientific/medical expertise and prior medical affairs field experience. * Collaborate with USMA and Oncology commercial partners to optimize the new hire experience and maintain a new hire curriculum program and a plan for continuous development so that learners can meet the evolving business needs of Jazz and its external stakeholders. * Track and report training participation, learning outcomes and metrics to ensure continuous improvement. * Collaborate with Business Operations & Analytics team, and the broader Commercial Learning and Development team to support learning and excellence initiatives including frameworks, systems, tools, and best practice sharing to enable Medical Affairs and Commercial team effectiveness. * Stay informed of trends and best practices in the learning and development space and integrate innovative learning approaches where appropriate. * Foster a culture which promotes excitement for learning across Jazz to drive 'fast start' behavior, collaboration, and high performing teams. * Demonstrate excellent communication skills, operating in a highly matrixed environment. * Oncology launch experience preferred Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Strong understanding of Medical Affairs as well as Commercial functions and learning/excellence needs, with at least 5+ years within the Pharmaceutical Industry, or at least 2+ years within Medical Affairs or medical L&D-related roles. * Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills. * Proficiency with Learning Management Systems, digital learning and content management tools, and the ability to effectively utilize proprietary software and exceptional writing, editing, proofreading and analytical skills. * Demonstrated ability to manage projects and coordinate cross-functional deliverables. * Education or training experience, including design, delivery, and evaluation of learning programs using adult learning principles and innovative approaches * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to develop and maintain a strong working relationship with internal and external partners. * High level of personal and professional integrity and ethics. * Expertise in instructional design, content development, and training delivery. * Demonstrates a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and high performance behaviors. * Demonstrates curiosity while continuously seeking new knowledge and opportunities to grow. Required/Preferred Education and Licenses: * Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years' experience in oncology medicine and/or medical affairs. * License (RN, NP, CNP, PA or equivalent) with a minimum of a master's degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years' experience in oncology medicine and/or medical affairs. Physical Demands and Work Environment: * Regular travel between conferences, offices, and meeting sites 20-30%. * Frequent use of office equipment, such as computers and telephones. * Occasional after-hours work may be required to meet business demands. * Frequent public contact requiring professional business attire. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $148,000.00 - $222,000.00 Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis. At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
