The Executive Assistant will work as an integral member of Jazz Pharmaceuticals' Global Commercial Organization (GCO). This position is accountable for providing comprehensive global administrative support to the Chief Commercial Officer and Global Commercial Organization Leadership Team (GCOLT).

Job Requirements:

A highly motivated, experienced professional is needed who is confident in their ability to deal with the challenges of working in a global fast and moving environment, with high and unpredictable work volumes, and frequently changing global travel and meeting plans. Must have outstanding organizational and planning abilities, proactive versatility, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and be able to prioritize with minimal guidance. This position must be able to deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information.

The Executive Assistant for the Global Chief Commercial Officer will ensure the team runs smoothly, efficiently, and professionally, coordinating all activities including, but not limited to:

  • Able to operate seamlessly in a global environment spanning multiple time zones.

  • Manage calendars for CCO and other global BU/functional heads.

  • Mail/Calendar Outlook inbox support for CCO.

  • Manage appropriate commercial projects, as assigned by the CCO.

  • Effective communication (both written and oral) aligned to the office of the Global CCO. In addition, must direct the flow of communications from the home office to the Global Commercial field sales organization.

  • Plan global team and outside meetings, including off-site.

  • Create Power Point Presentations

  • Maintain Global Commercial Organization Org Charts and Rosters

  • Management of team purchase orders, check requests and invoices.

  • Management of team office supplies for offsite meetings, as needed.

  • Prepare and submit expense reports.

  • Maintain confidentiality for sensitive matters.

  • Act as a liaison with global cross-functional departments.

  • Coordination of global projects, as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • An associate degree is required; BA preferred.

  • Minimum of five years professional experience in an administrative role in a sale and/or marketing environment; Biotech or Pharma is a plus.

  • Executive assistant/administration experience supporting a C-Suite leader is required

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and problem-solving, and facilitation skills are a necessity.

  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task, work effectively with little or no direction, and build collaborative relationships with management, partners, and peers.

  • Proactive and resourceful

  • Must be able to work in a highly energetic, flexible, and fast paced global environment.

  • Comfortable working across a global environment with multiple time zones

  • Occasional mobility within office environment.

  • Routinely sitting for extended periods of time.

  • Constantly operating a computer, printer, telephone, and other similar office machinery.

  • Frequent computer uses at workstation.

  • May move from one work location to another occasionally.

  • Responsibilities may require a work schedule that may include working outside of "normal" work hours and/or overtime work, to meet business demands.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $92,000.00 - $138,000.00

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.

At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
