Location: Honolulu, HI (Hybrid, Oahu Residents Only)
Pay: $27/hour and up, depending on experience About the Role We're seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create, maintain, and enhance a wide range of documentation that supports healthcare insurance operations. This includes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), communication guidelines, process documentation, and summaries of data trends and analyst communications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of translating complex information into clear, accessible content for both technical and non-technical audiences. Key Responsibilities Documentation Development & Maintenance * Create and update SOPs, process flows, communication guidelines, and project documentation. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including data analysts-to gather insights and ensure documentation accuracy. Operational & Analytical Reporting * Document healthcare insurance operations, including interactions with outsourcing partners. * Translate data findings into clear, actionable summaries for leadership and other stakeholders. Compliance & Quality Assurance * Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory and compliance standards. * Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy, relevance, and usability. Training & Support Materials * Develop user-friendly guides and manuals for internal and external audiences. * Assist in creating training resources to support operational initiatives. Document Control * Manage version control and accessibility of all documentation. * Review and edit existing materials for clarity, consistency, and effectiveness. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. * Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, CRM platforms). * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Education * Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Additional Skills (Nice to Have) * Experience with data analytics or experience interpreting data reports. * Prior experience as an analyst. * Experience working with outsourcing vendors. * Healthcare experience preferred. * Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
