Position Summary:



Our Senior Principal Technical Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of technical programs, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet specified technical requirements. This involves managing cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and communicating with stakeholders. The Senior Technical Program Manager will be a key liaison for customer programs, including project execution and tracking, revenue forecasting, tracking funding and billing, and subcontractor management. This role requires an understanding of the underlying technology and its nuances to effectively communicate with technical teams, identify potential issues, and make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will excel in leading important customer meetings, communicating effectively with executive leadership, and coordinating multi-functional groups to drive project success.



Responsibilities:


* Project Management:


o Develop comprehensive project plans that align with business objectives and customer requirements, including defining scope, timelines, and resources.


o Identify, assign, and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel, ensuring they are actively working towards established milestones.


o Continuously monitor project progress and provide detailed reports on measurable and actionable milestones, deliverables, and decision points.


o Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the project's success.


o Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines


o Prepare forecasts of program financial performance.


o Ensure the contract and program deliverables meet the required quality standards.


o Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.


* Stakeholder Management:


o Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders.


o Act as a liaison between technical teams and other departments, such as engineering, sales, and marketing.


o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the project's goals are achieved.


o Identify and engage with stakeholders, manage their expectations, and build strong relationships.


o Lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


* Technical:


o Possess an understanding of relevant technical areas such as semiconductors, manufacturing, and automation.


o Help identify technical issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.


o Ensure that the project's technical requirements are feasible and can be achieved.


o Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.


* Other:


o Develop effective strategies and processes to achieve project goals and enhance productivity.


o Adapt to changing circumstances, new technologies, and evolving project requirements.


o Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and development in the evolving tech landscape.



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related discipline.
  • 7 - 10 years of Program Management Experience in Government contracting.
  • Minimum 5 years in Engineering or other relevant experience in a technical role.
  • Advanced MS Excel or Smartsheet knowledge and skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • 75%+ on-site in our Kissimmee, Florida location.
  • U.S. Citizen Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.

The annual salary range for this role is $152,960 - $229,440. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
