As our new Vice President of Digital & Data Strategies, you will be the architect and champion of our internal digital transformation, setting the direction for enterprise applications, data, and AI initiatives that empower our organization to scale, innovate, and lead our industry. What You'll Do: Strategic Leadership Define and implement a forward-thinking vision for internal business applications, enterprise data, and AI adoption. Collaborate with senior leadership, actively shaping digital transformation and data strategy in alignment with business objectives. Build and communicate a robust, actionable roadmap that delivers measurable business value. Application & Data Ownership Oversee the evolution, integration, and lifecycle management of Interstates' core business platforms. Drive usability, scalability, and integration of applications across the enterprise. Champion data quality, governance, and analytics-ensuring data drives better decision-making at every level. AI & Automation Enablement Identify and implement AI-powered solutions (machine learning, LLMs, automation, RPA) to elevate business processes. Promote responsible AI adoption and innovation within core business products. Team & Culture Leadership Direct, mentor, and inspire cross-disciplinary teams spanning development, data, and AI. Foster culture anchored in accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement-rooted in Interstates' values. Collaboration & Change Leadership Build lasting partnerships with business leaders to co-create technology-driven solutions. Communicate complex technical strategies in a clear, business-focused way. Manage and drive organizational change to promote buy-in and adoption of key initiatives. Qualifications and Experience Needed: Proven Leadership: 10+ years driving strategic software, data, and digital transformation initiatives in complex organizations. Technical Depth: Knowledge spanning enterprise software platforms, data architecture, modern software development, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML. Strategic Agility: Experience identifying and introducing emerging technologies that solve real business problems. Change Management: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; experience leading organizational change. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Alignment with Interstates' leadership mindset: A genuine alignment with Interstates' core culture-collaborative, people-focused, innovative, and driven by integrity and service Additional Experience, preferred: Direct experience integrating AI into enterprise operations. Familiarity with agile, product management, and low-code/no-code platforms. Background in digital transformation or innovation roles. Travel: This position can be based out of either our Sioux Center, IA, Sioux Falls, SD, or Omaha, NE Offices.Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements. Up to 10-15% may be expected. Location: This position may be based out of our Sioux Falls, SD, Sioux Center, IA, or Omaha, NE offices. Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $160K - $200K + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.
