The Opportunity:

The Finance and Operational Excellence department within Facilities and Business Operations is seeking to hire a Facilities Integrated Work Management System (IWMS) Solutions Engineer III. This role is essential to ensuring the reliable operation, performance, and continued development of key systems that support Facilities operations-most critically, the AiM IWMS, the ReADY Request portal, and the Go Mobile App. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting, reporting, integration, and technical development of these systems.

Responsibilities:


  • Troubleshoot and resolve system errors within the AssetWorks IWMS suite (AiM, ReADY Request, Go Mobile App), ensuring reliable access for facilities staff and the campus community. Provide technical assistance for mobile device setup and usage.

  • Develop training materials and documentation to guide users in effectively navigating the IWMS platform in alignment with established business processes.

  • Design, develop, and execute complex SQL queries, including joins, views, and normalized data structures, to extract, manage, and maintain data integrity within IWMS and integrated systems.

  • Create and deliver operational and financial reports using tools such as BIRT, Excel, Power BI, Crystal Reports, and Tableau to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Support the implementation, integration, and maintenance of external platforms (e.g., E-Builder, PeopleSoft, Workday, Simple K, Willow, Fuel Master) to meet evolving business and operational needs.

  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders-including facilities technicians, supervisors, students, faculty, project planners, and financial managers-to identify technical issues, gather requirements, and deliver user-focused solutions.

  • Develop and optimize data manipulation statements (insert, update, delete) and program scripts in JavaScript to automate processes, enhance system functionality, and improve operational efficiency.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of professional experience supporting enterprise software systems, with a focus on facilities management, asset management, or integrated workplace management systems (IWMS).

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience with the AssetWorks IWMS suite (AiM, ReADY Request, Go Mobile App) or comparable IWMS platforms.

  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally and provide courteous responses to inquiries from internal and external partners.

  • Proficiency in SQL (including complex joins, views, and DML operations) for data extraction, analysis, and management.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop interactive reports and dashboards using tools such as BIRT, Power BI, Crystal Reports, Excel, or Tableau.

  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as PeopleSoft, Workday, E-Builder, or similar systems.

  • Strong JavaScript scripting skills for automation, workflow customization, and enhancing application functionality.

  • Proven ability to create user training materials, technical documentation, and system guides for different user groups.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of successfully collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including trades staff, IT professionals, project managers, and university leadership.

  • Experience working in higher education, public sector, or facilities operations environments is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) tools and mobile app deployment/support.


Special Instructions to the Applicants:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $76,000 to $95,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
