Compensation Grade: P20Compensation Details: Minimum: $73,627.00 - Maximum: $73,627.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OHEHR) Office of Health Equity and Human RightsJob Description: In addition to the Compensation Details above, the incumbent in this position will be eligible to receive location pay ($4,000/year). Responsibilities Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Health Program Coordinator to work in the Office of Health Equity and Human Rights (OHEHR) within the New York State Department of Health. The Senior Health Program Coordinator will assist in the coordination of programmatic activities supporting the Office of Health Equity and Human Rights Executive Team's priorities and initiatives. The Senior Health Program Coordinator will also conduct data analysis activities and contribute to the provision of analytic and technical support in the development of materials summarizing analysis results of program specific initiatives led by the Office of Health Equity and Human Rights. The Senior Health Program Coordinator will contribute to program evaluation, participate in special projects, and perform other appropriate related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience contributing to the coordination of program activities in a public health, health, health regulatory, or human services related program; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with a variety of stakeholders (i.e. government representatives, community leaders, underserved communities, community-based organizations, academic and research organizations, etc.). Demonstrated, strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel, 25% of the time, will be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
