About the opportunity
SWCA seeks a Project Environmental Planner - Permitting in Pittsburgh, PA. You will have a broad range of skills to work with a team lead/support permitting efforts in the transmission, power generation, and oil and gas markets. The position requires proven experience with all phases of project development including initial constraints analysis, permitting, preconstruction planning, construction, and post-construction operations and maintenance. This position requires the ability to work independently and coordinate with large project teams to support senior project management throughout all phases of a project's life-cycle. This is a full-time, regular status (with full benefits), hourly, non-exempt position with ability to be distributed within Pennsylvania. You will be managing or supporting energy development projects primarily in the Mid-Atlantic and Mid-West regions with opportunities work throughout the United States. Experience in Pennsylvania is required, and experience in New York, New Jersey, Ohio, West Virginia, and Virginia is preferred. An employee in this Pittsburgh, PA position can expect a rate of $36.04/hour to $46.64/hour. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
