Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work hybrid for our client in Malvern, PA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• The Shared Service Accounting organization provides Accounting and Reporting support and direction on various general ledgers and operating companies.
• The accountant will work with his or her manager to oversee accounting processes for Accounting and Reporting provided to all US companies.
• The accountant will also work directly with the business on intermediate accounting activities such as the month-end closing process, account reconciliations, and journal entry preparation.
• They will provide support in accordance with the client's Financial Reporting Guidelines and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• The candidate will analyze and maintain ledger accounts and related activities to produce financial statements and fiscal reports and ensure accurate and complete monthly reporting.
• Accounting support for the client's PETNET organization using the Oracle ERP system
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting for Oracle/ESPRIT/ADSTAR
• Support the month-end/Quarterly close process
• Prepare/Review various account reconciliations
• Apply accounting guidelines per International Financial Reporting Standards
• Identify and suggest process improvements
• Internal and external audit support as needed.
• General ledger accounting
• Journal entry preparation and reconciliation
• Use of the Oracle accounting system

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with public/private Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in closing and reporting of periodic financials.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle and in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in GAAP and IFRS.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with the organization's business practices and issues.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with general accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PowerPoint, Excel

• Good MS Office skills
• Certification may be required in some areas.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are critical
