As an AssociateInfrastructure Engineer, you'll support our Infrastructure and Platform teams by assisting with the deployment, operation, andbasic automation of our private cloud. This entrytomidlevel role is ideal for someone with foundational Linux and scripting skills, eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

This role will require you to be onsite two to three days a week in our Minneapolis office.

Your Impact



  • Assist in provisioning and maintaining OpenStack instances under the supervision of more senior engineers
  • Help manage infrastructure as code-contribute to Terraform configurations and Ansible playbooks
  • Perform routine checks, patching, and updates to ensure system health and compliance
  • Help troubleshoot infrastructure issues, perform rootcause analysis, and document solutions
  • Contribute to documentation of processes, runbooks, and configuration standards
  • Participate in oncall rotations and support deployments or incident resolution as needed
  • Shadow and learn from P3/P4/P5 engineers to develop a deeper understanding of the platform


Your Qualifications



  • 1-2 years of handson experience with Linux administration in any environment (academic, personal projects, or professional)
  • Basic familiarity with OpenStack or other virtualization platforms
  • Some exposure to scripting (Python, Shell) for automating simple tasks
  • Awareness of container concepts (Docker)
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to dive into logs and metrics
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience


Desired Skills



  • Initial experience with Terraform or Ansible, even if through coursework or selfstudy
  • Interest in observability tools such as Grafana or Prometheus
  • Curiosity about public cloud offerings (AWS/GCP/Azure) and eagerness to explore them
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals and security best practices
  • Any cloud or automation certifications are a plus (e.g., Linux Foundation Certified SysAdmin)

Base Salary Range:
$100,000 $144,000 USD
