Overview:

Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians/nurse practitioner and the leader.

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant:

• Education:High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience:6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
• Certification:Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Certified Medical Assistant:

• Education:High School Diploma or GED.
• Certifications:Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA).Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
