Supervisor / Team Lead - Warehouse logistics

Alan Ritchey, Inc is seeking a motivated, team players to expand the Supervisor team at our Aurora warehouse. We are preparing for peak season - Oct-Dec and are looking to hire for our 3 shifts.

Supervisors lead a team of 6-20 employees in one or more areas of the warehouse, and report to the Tour Manager. They are expected to direct and lead their team, respond to common problems, and hit daily targets and goals. In addition, they are expected to report serious or unusual concerns to the management team, identify areas of possible improvement or ongoing concerns or problems, and work with HR and management to address performance concerns and identify opportunities for employees who are demonstrating strong performance and skills.

Our facility in Aurora is a large warehouse processing mail and packages in a high-volume, 24/7, production environment.

We have three tours covering the full 24hour cycle - , 10pm-6am, 6am-2pm, and 2pm-10pm. Currently we are hiring Supervisors for all shifts. Successfully supervising a team requires attention to detail, problem solving, and the ability to provide clear instructions, corrections, and feedback to team members with the goal of hitting production and accuracy targets for their area and team.

• Coordinate and supervise a team of 6-20 employees

• Respond to and report on emergencies, problems, and complaints

• 1-5 years of Warehouse Experience or similar
• 1-3 years of management or team leader experience
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, squat for a standard 8 hour shift
• Weekend and holiday availability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detailed Oriented
• Understanding of transportation flow
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Critical Thinking Skills
