Alan Ritchey, Inc is seeking a motivated, team player for an Assistant Shift/Tour Manager position. This person will report to the Tour Manager, as well as coordinate, supervise, provide leadership, motivation, training and development of our work force. The right person will cultivate a positive work environment while ensuring company policies are followed. The candidate needs to demonstrate time management, communication, planning, team building and administrative skills. Our facility in Aurora is a large warehouse processing mail and packages in a high-volume, 24/7, production environment. We have three tours covering the full 24hour cycle - , 10pm-6am, 6am-2pm, and 2pm-10pm. Currently we are looking to add a new position, Assistant Tour Manager, to all three tours. The manager will be supervising a tour of 100-150 employees on a daily basis, including forklift drivers, shipper/packers, and clerks. Successfully supervising a shift requires a high degree of coordination and accuracy to ensure that all the items are received, sorted, and loaded successfully and that certain tasks are prioritized and completed.
