In the role of Power Engineering Intern, we'll count on you to: - Produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs by hand or using computer-aided design software, with occasional assistance from supervisor or others - Perform assignments under the direct supervision of your Office Principal, Section Manager or other professionals - Offer real-world experience on exciting projects - Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals' programs Preferred Qualifications - Must be currently enrolled in an associate or technical CAD program - Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Civil3D - GPA of 3.0 or higher - Ability to work 20-40 hours per week - Preference will be given to local candidates -This position does not qualify for relocation or living stipend Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program Attention to detail Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills Basic Microsoft Office skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
