Sr Lead Technical Program Manager

As a Senior Lead Technical Program Manager, you will be a key member of the Project Management Office (PMO) leadership team, influencing strategic and operational priorities across the organization. You will provide expert leadership to plan, manage, and deliver all aspects of one or more large, technical, and complex programs or projects that span multiple disciplines. This role requires a proven track record of delivering business outcomes, strong leadership in a matrixed environment, and mentoring of less experienced PMs.

You will also be responsible for driving the development and maintenance of core program artifacts including charters, integrated project plans, risk and issue logs, decision registers, and status reports to ensure transparency, alignment, and accountability across all stakeholders.

• Collaborate with directors and senior leads within the PMO and across functional departments to align program goals and execution.
• Lead the creation and stewardship of program documentation including charters, project plans, risk/issue logs, and other key artifacts to support governance and decision-making.
• Ensure that multiple projects within your program are on schedule, high quality, within budget, and meet defined success metrics.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks across technical and operational workstreams to maintain program health.
• Drive strong integration across workstreams, ensuring dependencies are proactively managed and cross-functional coordination is seamless.
• Develop and execute communication strategies that ensure consistent, transparent updates across all stakeholder groups.
• Synthesize complex and disparate information into clear recommendations, actions, and decisions.
• Consult with client and stakeholder partners to ensure satisfaction and alignment throughout the program lifecycle.
• Provide enterprise-wide leadership in critical project solutions and negotiation.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Maintain working knowledge in areas such as technical architecture, software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, production deployment, and requirements management.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent eduaction and related experience
• Broad expertise and training in program and project management methods (waterfall & agile), and a strong business accumen
• 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager in the telecom or technology industries

Preferred:

• Master's degree with 8+ years related experience
• PMP Certification, Scrum Master Certification, Advanced Project Management Degree (Master's Cert)

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
