Auria is looking to hire an Integration Engineer to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. This program is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Integrate JEMINI Lab test suites into our development lab
- Develop configurations to support testing and prototypes of developing systems
- Create and modify scripts to extract specific information from log files
- Perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data
- Troubleshoot both test and prototype issues
- Document test results and prepare test status reports
- Author spiral and build-level test plan documents and procedures
- Create Test Discrepancy Reports to document issues
- Assist software development personnel with investigating and resolving issues
- Develop troubleshooting procedures and workaround documents
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures to test C2BMC in an integrated environment or to evaluate specific capabilities
- Plan and lead C2BMC tests with external elements and sensors
- Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, testing, and network documents as necessary
- Attend meetings with customers, etc., and represent the Integration team
- Responsible for managing the configuration of a set of lab machines dedicated to specific development activities

- Current/active in-scope DoD issued TOP SECRET security clearance.
- 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
- or a Master's degree and 6 years of experience,
- or a PhD and 4 years of experience,
- or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Experience with systems/security integration and system/software testing, including virtualized environments
- Experience in integrating system components in an integrated test environment
- Working knowledge of system design, security design, and overall integration into an operational environment
- Strong skills in VMware, virtual servers, UNIX, including shell scripting
- In-depth understanding of Windows and Unix systems
- Working knowledge of preparing test plans and procedures, along with test execution
- Hands-on experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated test tools
- Previous experience as a Software Integrator
- Ability to read and troubleshoot application source code
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
- Knowledge and expertise in the C2BMC concept of operations and user interface
- Experience in writing installation manuals
- Must be able to write clear, concise system installation and configuration instructions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with software developers, system administrators, and analysis and test engineers
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
- Current and active in-scope DoD-issued TS/SCI security clearance is highly preferred
- Previous experience in a security-focused anti-tamper development environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with containerized virtual environments preferred
- Familiarity with Java and object-oriented development is a plus
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $120,000 - $130,000
