Job Summary

The Financial Controls Consultant I assists in the development and maintenance of Agency Compensation processes and projects. The consultant coordinates with IT and business partners to ensure risks are adequately mitigated via effective (and cost efficient) controls. This role also analyzes and communicates results for projects and initiatives, diagnoses potential issues and provides prompt corrective actions.This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • With direction, participate and contribute on projects that are up to moderate complexity and are small to moderate scope
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify emerging issues and assist in the development and implementation of strategies
  • With direction, execute assigned agency/field compensation/footprint processes in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain process documentation for assigned agency/field compensation processes
  • Ensure controls are in place throughout the end-to-end process on individually assigned tasks
  • Actively build strong relationships among teams and team members to ensure cooperation on project objectives
  • With direction, support the development/design of new plans, programs, and processes up to moderate complexity
  • Understand internal and external compliance requirements/standards and participate in the integration and delivery of planned changes/ projects/ processes to regions/field
  • Notify individuals of and monitor the cutoff/due dates for the completion and submission of materials
  • Assist on data analysis with ad hoc projects of low to moderate complexity
Preferred Qualifications
  • Intermediate business knowledge
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and organization skills with a proven ability to multi-task
  • Problem solving
  • Possesses basic working knowledge of sales and finance processes, policies, and procedures or other business/technical fields
  • Effective communication across multiple levels and mediums
  • Intermediate ability to create reports using a variety of tools (i.e.; Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of SQL a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
Education and Experience
  • 2 or more years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • This job does not have supervisory duties
Compensation Data

The compensation offered for this role ranges from $52,000.00 to $60,000.00 based on the candidate's experience.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
