The Opportunity

The Senior Closing Coordinator - Servicing will need to coordinate, monitor, and help resolve closing and pre-closing issues among multiple platforms including client relations, legal, underwriting, and servicing. The Senior Closing Coordinator will also work closely with Servicing Loan Administration Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate recording of loan closing dates and amounts.

What it takes to be successful in this role



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Commercial Real Estate mortgage experience
  • One to three years prior experience in a similar position.


Essential Duties



  • McCracken - Update all necessary loan information screens/fields with new borrower information or other loan modifications; Complete forms necessary to deposit all loan deposits, apply special request fees; Pay all invoices associated with loan ; Compile YTD Assumption Tracking Report for yearend purposes.
  • Loan Closing - Engage Legal Counsel; Review all draft loan documents and make relevant changes; Review loan documents for accuracy and proper signature blocks.
  • Loan Closing - Review title and survey issues, facilitate issue resolution; Coordinate Insurance review resolving any issues that may arise; Research, calculate and verify Escrow information; Verify all business terms and legal points as outlined in the Application, and approvals. Credit Memorandum have been properly reflected in the final Loan Documents; Determine that all loan conditions outlined in the Application and Credit Memorandum have been satisfied before closing.
  • Post-Closing - Compile documents/forward original documents to the Trustee and Imaging; Develop a "tickler spread sheet" for all important events that occur during the course of the loan that will assist Asset Manager; Assist Portfolio Manager in the compilation of information/documentation for assumptions and transfers; Update delivery and tracking spread sheet.
  • Process Special Requests as needed (i.e. Partial Releases, Easements, Condemnations, SNDA's and Lease Reviews, Track and record all fees generated by Special Requests, prepare monthly YTD Fee reports, Prepare YTD Pipeline report, Prepare YTD Tally Report)
  • Other duties as assigned.
