About this Position:

Assist in manufacturing security function for machine control networks / industrial control systems (ICS) at the Marysville Auto Plant. The scope of

this function covers manufacturing asset PLC identification, inventory maintenance, risk remediation, IT collaboration to secure and protect industrial

control systems.

Responsibilities include:



  • Collaborate with OT leaders from other HDMA and ICS product manufacturers to define specifications for best
  • practice device configurations and network connectivity for reliable operation, data collection, and security
  • best practices.
  • Ensure accurate inventory of MAP's ICS network and it's individual components.
  • Perform Security Risk Assessments and identify security issues and risks, develop mitigation plans for new and
  • existing systems.
  • Supporting other RO/GO study and/or data requests
  • Supporting PE Genpo team activities: PEQ, MSS, OLT, and Project



Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:



  • 2-4 years of experience with machine control networks / industrial control systems (ICS); firm understanding of communication networks.


Required Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or equivalent related experience or Associate degree in a related technical field and five or more years' experience PLC programming or related equipment controls.


Desired skills:



  • Knowledge and experience with Honda Business Planning Process
  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively both with customers and internal project teams
  • Business acumen in a technical environment


Additional Position Factors:



  • Flexible Work Hours
  • Flexible Work Schedule
  • Estimate 2-4 Business trips per year may be required to support regional initiatives and improve overall efforts to improve standardization across the region. This activity may require short-term assignments at other Honda sites for 1-to-2-week periods.
  • 5-15 hours of OT per week
  • Weekend and holiday work may be required
