In this fast-paced role you'll be responsible for performing sales and marketing activities that support the sales team's efforts to grow the Treasury line of business. Creating, analyzing, and delivering proposals, Request for Proposals (RFPs) and sales presentations are at the heart of your role. You'll be charged with delivering a great client experience and with helping the sales team win and retain clients. This is a unique role that allows for back office support and analysis as well as client facing opportunities. You'll work closely with Treasury Management Officers and Commercial Relationship Managers.

Job Description

The Treasury Sales Associate II plays a pivotal role on the Treasury Sales team in delivering best-in-class cash management, trade, liquidity and commercial card capabilities for clients. The TSA supports Treasury Management Officer efforts to gain, expand, manage, and maintain Treasury relationships. The TSA II works with moderate oversight from TSA IV and/or supervisor and is assigned a diverse mid-sized portfolio with moderate complexity.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You'll develop proposals utilizing any and all available technology including pricing proformas, customer/product profitability analysis, comprehensive product functionality descriptions appropriate to the customer/prospects needs, and proximity studies of branch locations relative to the customer/prospect locations.
  • You'll analyze customer/prospect RFPs and develop and coordinate customized proposals.
  • You'll serve as the designated back up to the Treasury Management Officers in their absence and assists customers as appropriate.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business or related degree with 3+ years' relevant banking and Treasury Sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of general banking
  • Thorough understanding of cash management services and products i.e., Online Banking Service, Remote Deposit, Lockbox and ACH Systems as well as pricing philosophy and billing processes
  • Demonstrated ability to read and leverage data to proactively identify trends and Treasury sales opportunities
  • Working knowledge and understanding of accounting, finance, and cash management principles and practices
  • Understanding of and adherence to risk guidelines to proactively identify and proficiently manage risk
  • Strong organizational skills in order to prioritize and complete various time critical and extensive tasks within assigned deadlines
  • Ability to interact with and influence people internally and externally by proficient use of verbal and written communication and through strong presentation skills
