We are looking for a driven and dedicated computer vision/machine learning engineer, optimally with experience in object detection, pose estimation, or tracking algorithms. To succeed within this role, you should have shown experience in several of the following areas:
Key Qualifications
  • Strong experience in 3D Computer Vision algorithms
  • Experience in machine learning, preferably in 3D computer vision applications
  • Solid foundation in 3D geometry and linear algebra
  • Strong experience in Python and science libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib
  • Strong experience in C++
  • Experience in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Experience in 3D meshes and geometry is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Track record of successfully building and shipping products or open source projects
  • Creativity and curiosity for solving highly complex problems
Description
You'll be working in a team of computer vision and machine learning researchers and engineers to implement world class algorithms that pushes the state of the art. Your job responsibilities will include: -Inventing and implementing state of the art computer vision algorithms to solve cutting edge problems. -Designing such algorithms to work reliably and efficiently on mobile devices. -Collaborating with other teams in software and hardware to ensure the full pipeline runs efficiently and utilizes Apple hardware effectively. -Cooperating with your team members to prepare presentations, papers, and talks to explain your inventions.
Education & Experience
Ph.D./M.S in computer vision, machine learning, computer science or 5+ years of equivalent industry experience

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
