About this Position:

The Learning Specialist supports training activities in North America to support the professional development of Honda associates. This includes producing meetings, facilitation of entry level programs, supporting eLearning, and supporting projects.

Responsibilities include:



  • Facilitate/Produce the Honda Learning Programs across North America
  • Support Program Managers for recurring training programs:
  • Producer role, supports scheduling, and entry of class in HLC
  • Review e-learning courses as needed
  • Supports development of marketing communications about offerings featured to associates
  • Lead small to mid-level projects
  • Gain knowledge on all existing programs and processes
  • Support RFP process across region to decision and implementation and analyzing overall market trends


Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:



  • 0-2 Years of experience in employee training and development


Required Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred


Desired skills:



  • Good customer service and collaboration skills to understand root cause analysis and build sustainable framework.
  • Ability to use metrics and data analysis to identify and resolve issues
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills capable of relating to individuals at all levels
  • Good written and oral communication skills with outstanding listening skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
  • Ability to work effectively outside functional area
  • Ability to develop and deliver formal presentations


Additional Position Factors:



  • Workstyle: 80% Remote - onsite presence based on business need
  • Travel: 5% to 10%
